We've recently completed 24 brand new affordable homes on West Street in Scunthorpe.
Our tenants will be moving into their new homes – which range from one-bed flats to three-bed houses – in early July.
"We’re delighted to be offering new homes for affordable rent to local people, and we’re grateful for the support we’ve received from both North Lincolnshire Council and the Homes and Communities agency to deliver them" said Allan Ramsay, Director of Investment and Regeneration at The Guinness Partnership.
Investing in new homes
More than £2 million was invested into the project, of which £413,000 came in the form of a grant from the Homes and Communities Agency.
The new homes were built by constructor, Hobson Porter. Business development director Dave Blades said: "The need for affordable housing is growing and we are delighted to be working with The Guinness Partnership to deliver this project. We are always looking for projects to work on that will make a real difference to the local communities they serve, and I have no doubt this one will do just that."
